Winter wonderland in London

Winter in London is by far different from the one in Lithuania. While in Lithuania I had to walk on icy roads and snow during this time of the year, whenever I decide to visit London,(which usually happens on weekends) it always starts to rain.
So happened last weekend as well, as we I decided to visit Winter Wonderland, huge German based amusement park. Okay, it wasn't fun as soon as we got from the metro station, however, just after we got the first ride, we forgot the rain instantly and couldn't wait to get as much as we possibly can from our visit here. In one word I can say, that it was AMAZING. I don't know why, but it was such a huge deal for me. I tend to think, because I haven't been to this kind of event for a loong time, so maybe that's why I felt in love with this event and loved each moment spent there. Some photos from the event below!

INSTASHOT: Throwback to South Korean adventures + vlog!!

This post has been lost somewhere ahah. You know, that usually when I come back from my trip, I go to my blog and post an article full of instagram shots. That's what I was supposed to do with this post as well, but somehow, there were so many things going on in my life that I forgot to make it.
Anyway, now that I finally created my travel vlog (yess, very first vlog of mine), I think it would be cool opportunity to post it here, together with my instagram shots.
And guys, you can't even imagine how excited I am about this vlog as it's my first video like this that is ever posted, so be understanding, it might not be perfect, but I am planning to improve!
Anyway, let's see if you like it and maybe if you do, I can create more videos like this for you to see, especially when it comes to travelling! If you don't know, here you can see an original travelling videos from Korea.

Hatfield, UK

Old town / Hatfield

More and more my mind gets full of thoughts of making my own traveling diary..  For some reason posting outfit shots doesn't amuse me anymore. I am sure you all might be tired of constant posting of  different looks with no story behind as well. Of course it does stay my favorite activity but I feel like something is missing. Being such a huge travelling lover I feel like I must do something about my blog. Like, for example, be more engaged in posting travelling shots than just regular looks.
Of course, nothing happens quickly so to start this brand new idea of mine, I decided to try incorporate some travelling mood into my articles first. I think this gonna make my blog more interesting to read as each post may tell something new and hopefully something interesting. However, as I am now busy studying, I may not always be available to travel so I am not sure if my idea is going to work. But why not to try?
Here you go my first kinda autumn-ish look from old town of Hatfield. Small place which is not that good when it comes to looking for restaurants or shopping (no shops, no restaurants, just pubs here!!), but quite interesting for those who might like to take some 'British' kinda pictures  and enjoy the atmosphere. Enough for today.;) stay tuned to see some pictures from Winter Wonderland in London! Will be super fun!

Juozas Statkevičius SS17: Lithuanian heritage

A few weeks ago one of the biggest fashion shows in Lithuania took place. And if you are about to wonder..yes, it was no other than Juozas Statkevičius spring/summer 2017 collection presentation. This year, the collection of probably the most famous Lithuanian designer, was inspired by traditional Lithuanian folk. Village sights, modernized clog shoes, bright colours were taking over the catwalk. Here are some amazing backstage shots taken by Aistė Kirsnytė. Take a look in order to  understand what makes all the fashionable Lithuanians go crazy in this time of a year..
I personally couldn't attend this amazing event due to my studies in England.:( Seriously, I can't forgive myself for missing this beautiful show. However as you all may suppose, I have already looked through internet and all the shots of fellow Lithuanian photographers, therefore I have seen each look of this collection as well.  I may also say that even though yes, there might be a scandal of so called 'plagiarism' from the Chanel SS2010 show that was going on, but, come on, guys.. How else would you like to portray Lithuanian heritage inspired collection, huh? I think it was a great show, even better than last years and even though not so many days passed since it, I already can't wait for the next year!!

The mermaid story

As soon as I came back to Lithuania to rest a bit from studies, I got invited to model for one shooting.  Karolina Meschino had came up with an amazing 'mermaid' idea for the project for her university. So me and my sister were about to take the roles of such creatures.
Karolina took on styling the whole looks, while Dainius Ščiuka was our photographer once more and I must say that it was a pleasure to work with Milda Butkevičienė from the Karolina Make Up Studio.
It was an amazing experience and great time working  on this project together with amazing people. The result of shoot is down below.

Halloween vibes around my look

Happy Halloween everyone! The scariest night of the year has finally come! Too bad no party to me this evening as my studies are pressing me so hard I can't hardly find free time to spare, however, don't you think that I am just going to leave it as that and won't show you my 'Halloween look' and yes I know it's not scary at all. But do we need to look scary? Maybe we need to scare everyone of how stylish we are on this hella day?

Good morning England!

Sorry for doing a break on my blog recently. Not too long ago I moved to UK for my studies so I needed to settle in. Of course I won't stop blogging, and actually going to take this chance to do some fun posts here, which may be a little bit different from the previous ones, that I used to post on my blog. The town I am staying at, Hatfield, is pretty calm, but it's just beside London, so I may take photos there as well. In general, I think this period may be very interesting for my blog as it's going to go through some changes and those are always for the good. So stay tuned and wait  for more British looks!

Bagels on my mind

Now let's talk about some of the coolest places in town! If you ever have a chance to visit Lithuanian capital Vilnius, make sure you visit this  awesome bagel place. "Beigelistai" is how this place is called, is actually the latest discovery of mine. It's some new place where you can you can choose from many many types and you can have a cup tea or homemade lemonade as well. That's what I did on this hot Autumn day. I visited with sis and we decided to have some bagels for dessert, so ordered one with nutella and one with peanut butter. yum! so delicious!
You can look for this place in Literatų street, Vilnius and see for yourself!

As the new day comes, the new beauty product review sure does come too! And this time it's the L'Oreal Paris and Maybelline New York what it's going to be all about. So if you're perhaps on a shortcut of make up products or just simply want your collection to increase and thinking about buying something, take a look, because why not, it's fun!

Deichmann new collection launching & style consultations in Vilnius

A week ago, I paid a short visit to Vilnius. To be more specific I had some work to do in one of the Deichmann stores in the Ozas department store. So the reason of my visit was very simple, Deicmann team together with style support team has launched the latest A/W collection and done some consultations for the visitors and customers. I really love events like this, since you can have a great time working and talking with great people.

Kaunas, Lithuania

classic that never dies

Maybe some of you already seen on my instagram these perfect Reebok classic sneakers that I was wearing one day. Aren't they just flawless? You do can take on some exercise with them, but personally I prefer to stroll around the town with these matched together with my leather midi skirt, denim jacket and the crop turtle-neck? Classy yet chic, isn't it?

SOUTH KOREA TRAVEL DIARY + video

So it has been almost a month since our trip to Korea. I am very happy to be able to show the last post from the trip which is going to be a little bit different from the ones I have been posting during my travel. This time I am about to do a wrap up story which would mostly include people, food and places. Maybe you're about to visit this amazing country? Then it would be perfect for you to check on some things before you go, as we did visit some awesome places there. I am going to leave short captions along the photos so that you could understand what the photo is all about:)
Now it's time to stop blabering, go get some coffee and snacks, cause you're about to see some culture shock here and there.

September 1st in town

It's time for September first which came so quickly and unexpectedly. Too bad there is no school for me this year, therefore you won't see any uniform shots or after school sittings in the cafe. Not anymore. However I may soon move to England to start my studies there, so you may wait for some new posts there:)

Last day in Korea!

Seoul, South Korea

Around Gangnam in white

Not too long ago I came back to Lithuania after 4 weeks spent in Korea. It was a magnificent journey and I will totally miss that country and its people. Now that I came back home I still have some looks left to post on my blog. Here is one look from a stroll back then in Gangnam! Take the look at my look, which I chose to be very simple and minimalistic this time and some shots from the Banana tree cafe where you can get their well-known flower pot puddings and cotton candy drinks.

The hanbok story

One of the most memorable thing I got to do in Seoul or in all Korea was probably the drama cafe I went to. I know, sounds quite funny, but believe me it's so unique and awesome, that I will remember it for the rest of my life. So the main point here is pretty clear. You go in, choose the dress, order the drink and just after that get dressed yourself. You can be whatever you want, a bride, princess, fairy, or my most favorites were Korean traditional hanboks of Gisaeng (pretty much the same as Japanese geisha), Empress or you can choose any other role in the palace. So I chose the attire of the Empress in bright red. I couldn't even imagine it weights a lot, but it does. The piece was super heavy.
I took some shots there and then had to dress of the dress in order to finish my coffee since you can't do that with the clothes on. It was super awesome experience as you never really do these kind of things on daily basis and not to mention, I got to wear one of the traditional clothing pieces that do excites me the most about this thing.

Kitty paradise in Korea

Some days ago I visited one lovely place in Myeongdong district, Seoul. Believe it or not, it was a cat cafe. In Korea it's a very common phenomenon, to enjoy coffee and pat a kitty at the same time. So I decided to go and see for myself what kind of feeling and place is that so called kitty cafe. And just as I thought, it was nothing, but kitty paradise. Just as we stepped in the cafe, one lovely cutie pie decided to come closer and say 'hi'. When we went to order our coffees, guess who were sleeping on the bartenders table? yup, there were about 5 kitties laying. I don't know how about you, but I was completely taken away. It was really a nice experience and I recommend for you too, go and visit.

Busan, South Korea

Bye Busan!

Not too long ago I came back to Seoul to continue my trip. Being in Busan was a blast to me. I got to be near the ocean and it's such a praising, to tell you the truth. For me, who is born in a Northern Europe to feel the summer heat is something I got to experience really rarely, and I am not going to start to talk about the ocean here. Finally , finally I got my eyes all sore from the ocean salt and my skin got so much better after being some time under the sun. And after such an awesome week in Busan it was time for me to say bye bye and come back to Seoul to finish my journey.

Yonggungsa temple on the coast of the ocean was the second attraction we decided to visit in Busan. Here are some photos from today:)

Time stops in Busan

After two weeks spent in Seoul we packed our bags and left to Busan, which is the port city of Korea. I didn't know what to expect since the things I heard about this city were so few. However, now that I am here, I can say that I totally love it. Our hotel rests just on the cost of the ocean, in the Haeunde beach. I may show the surroundings in the coming post as I am planning to take some pictures there. And now I want to show some photos from one day in Gamcheon culture village, which was full of exploring. This place is just fascinating. The roads are so tiny and narrow and the houses are built closely side by side, that it's almost impossible to go through. Elderly women who speak no english but are so eager to talk to foreigners who are passing by. It's just so authentic and you feel the different colours of Korea.

Lost and found in Seoul

On one of the last days spent in Seoul we decided to head to some traditional dessert place to taste the sweets that were here long long time ago and even now they're just as popular. On our way we stopped to take some photos and as you can see I am wearing my super awesome vintage, military-like jacket. I am totally loving it!

The colour block

How is it going with your summer looks, guys? not struggling at all? like at all? Because well in Korea I took my ten top most wearable clothes I use to wear all the time and the rest is up to me to buy on spot when I feel like it's going to match the goodies I have in my luggage. It's some kind of telepathic stylist job that you have to do here. It's not that easy, to match clothes that you have with the ones you see in stores and make the outfits in your head only, because you can't dress everything up and see it how it really looks. So yeah, for me to keep making up the outfits and posting them on blog daily, like I usually do, in Korea is quite challenging. But then again, do they all have to be extravagant and breath-catching? nope. Do they all have to make me look, like I am going to some fashion week? nope. That is why I don't feel any pressure at all here and I am just cool with posting stuff that I am traveling with and this time it's the colour block that I came up five minutes before actually heading out to the center. Feel free to judge guys? And if you have time, feel free to share your traveling outfits. What are they like? I am curious to know.

Hello Kitty Cafe

Hello from Seoul, everyone! Here I am again with another post from this amazing country, this time I took some shots of the Hello Kitty Cafe in Seoul  that I got to visit some days ago. To match the theme I picked my new pink bodysuit which I got as a gift from Tally Weijl! It matched perfectly with my new trousers which I got to buy in the local market in Seoul. The price was only 3 euros, can you imagine that?!? Planning to buy more of these in the coming days. definitely. This sporty/chic kinda look was just perfect for this hot day in Seoul and especially in this super cute cafe!

Pink heels and the Palace

10 days in Korea has passed and I can say I love it more and more. I am already preparing my luggage for the beach, so you just wait! And now, while I am still in the capital I am exploring some more of the cultural and historical sights it can offer. For instance, this Gyeongbokgung Palace was the highlight of the day. The biggest palace in Korea was the main royal Palace of the Joseon dynasty.
To match the theme, I picked my princess-like heels haha. I believe it matched my 'sporty' kinda outfit pretty well.

Dining in Itaewon

Hello hello from Iteawon! The area of Seoul famous for its international concept. By international I mean, the cafes and restaurants are offering food from the different cuisines of the world, such as British, German, American, Japanese, Thai, Russian, Indian, Mexican and so on. You can find it all here, in one place. You may also find Korean restaurants too, but if you have Iteawon in your GO-TO list, keep in mind that this district is all about cultural diversity. (You may also do some shopping there and clubbing too). Korea is really wonderful in this respect. If you look in the surroundings of Seoul you may see various places such as Itaewon, Myeondong, Insadong and all of them are specialized in something and each place is different from one another, that's why it makes Korea very interesting country to visit. It just won't be boring. There are surprises everywhere you go.
