Winter wonderland in London

Winter in London is by far different from the one in Lithuania. While in Lithuania I had to walk on icy roads and snow during this time of the year, whenever I decide to visit London,(which usually happens on weekends) it always starts to rain.
So happened last weekend as well, as we I decided to visit Winter Wonderland, huge German based amusement park. Okay, it wasn't fun as soon as we got from the metro station, however, just after we got the first ride, we forgot the rain instantly and couldn't wait to get as much as we possibly can from our visit here. In one word I can say, that it was AMAZING. I don't know why, but it was such a huge deal for me. I tend to think, because I haven't been to this kind of event for a loong time, so maybe that's why I felt in love with this event and loved each moment spent there. Some photos from the event below!

INSTASHOT: Throwback to South Korean adventures + vlog!!

This post has been lost somewhere ahah. You know, that usually when I come back from my trip, I go to my blog and post an article full of instagram shots. That's what I was supposed to do with this post as well, but somehow, there were so many things going on in my life that I forgot to make it.
Anyway, now that I finally created my travel vlog (yess, very first vlog of mine), I think it would be cool opportunity to post it here, together with my instagram shots.
And guys, you can't even imagine how excited I am about this vlog as it's my first video like this that is ever posted, so be understanding, it might not be perfect, but I am planning to improve!
Anyway, let's see if you like it and maybe if you do, I can create more videos like this for you to see, especially when it comes to travelling! If you don't know, here you can see an original travelling videos from Korea.

Hatfield, UK

Old town / Hatfield

More and more my mind gets full of thoughts of making my own traveling diary..  For some reason posting outfit shots doesn't amuse me anymore. I am sure you all might be tired of constant posting of  different looks with no story behind as well. Of course it does stay my favorite activity but I feel like something is missing. Being such a huge travelling lover I feel like I must do something about my blog. Like, for example, be more engaged in posting travelling shots than just regular looks.
Of course, nothing happens quickly so to start this brand new idea of mine, I decided to try incorporate some travelling mood into my articles first. I think this gonna make my blog more interesting to read as each post may tell something new and hopefully something interesting. However, as I am now busy studying, I may not always be available to travel so I am not sure if my idea is going to work. But why not to try?
Here you go my first kinda autumn-ish look from old town of Hatfield. Small place which is not that good when it comes to looking for restaurants or shopping (no shops, no restaurants, just pubs here!!), but quite interesting for those who might like to take some 'British' kinda pictures  and enjoy the atmosphere. Enough for today.;) stay tuned to see some pictures from Winter Wonderland in London! Will be super fun!

Juozas Statkevičius SS17: Lithuanian heritage

A few weeks ago one of the biggest fashion shows in Lithuania took place. And if you are about to wonder..yes, it was no other than Juozas Statkevičius spring/summer 2017 collection presentation. This year, the collection of probably the most famous Lithuanian designer, was inspired by traditional Lithuanian folk. Village sights, modernized clog shoes, bright colours were taking over the catwalk. Here are some amazing backstage shots taken by Aistė Kirsnytė. Take a look in order to  understand what makes all the fashionable Lithuanians go crazy in this time of a year..
I personally couldn't attend this amazing event due to my studies in England.:( Seriously, I can't forgive myself for missing this beautiful show. However as you all may suppose, I have already looked through internet and all the shots of fellow Lithuanian photographers, therefore I have seen each look of this collection as well.  I may also say that even though yes, there might be a scandal of so called 'plagiarism' from the Chanel SS2010 show that was going on, but, come on, guys.. How else would you like to portray Lithuanian heritage inspired collection, huh? I think it was a great show, even better than last years and even though not so many days passed since it, I already can't wait for the next year!!

The mermaid story

As soon as I came back to Lithuania to rest a bit from studies, I got invited to model for one shooting.  Karolina Meschino had came up with an amazing 'mermaid' idea for the project for her university. So me and my sister were about to take the roles of such creatures.
Karolina took on styling the whole looks, while Dainius Ščiuka was our photographer once more and I must say that it was a pleasure to work with Milda Butkevičienė from the Karolina Make Up Studio.
It was an amazing experience and great time working  on this project together with amazing people. The result of shoot is down below.

Loulu Et Tu SS 2016 backstage moments

Sorry for no updates for such a long time. The past days were crazy, unfortunately it got nothing to do with my blog nor with fashion as I had a crazy time preparing for the exams. However things are changing drastically as I have made a bunch of plans for the coming months and the countdown is already on the go.
Okay, and actually I had a great Friday this week as I took on modeling job again for Loulu Et Tu. The first time I modeled for them was some years ago and I made some backstage shots back then too. (check the post here) On the past Friday was my third time wearing those delicate clothes and rocking the runway during the private evening presentation. I am thinking of publishing the runway shots that I snatched from the local press and showing it to you tomorrow. Anyway, grab a cup of coffee and check the photos now!

SS16 H&M STUDIO collection review

I can't tell in words how happy I am right now. Currently all my plans and life matters are put in place, therefore I finally can relax for a bit after such a busy week. I still have some plans to take care of, but it is not that big of a deal since now I have some free days to get some rest!
Okay, and moving on to the topic, some of you may have already seen on my instagram about my latest fashion brunch with H&M team and a bunch of other Lithuanian bloggers. Actually the reason why we all gathered that lovely Saturday afternoon, was because of the upcoming ss16 H&M studio collection review party. Well I could say it was more like a fashion brunch, since we got to try some awesome gourmet snacks as well as some delicious desserts and drink some fresh coctails in such a lovely place called Panama food Garden in Vilnius. If you ever visit the city, be sure to pay a visit and have some quality time while trying out some of the foodies here.

Regarding the latest collection, all I could say is that I am soo looking forward to the coming festivals and holidays since it is so on point! Every piece just spreads those bohemic vibes. My favourite pieces were probably the scarf/hat thingy, blanket/bag kind of combination as well as a pair of white flair jeans that I have been dreaming about ever since. I took some shots from closer but if you can't find them don't worry, these goodies will fill up the stores on the 25th of February and you will definitely can take a look by yourselves!!

Fashion breakfast and wedding gown presentation

Today was full of surprises. Starting with fashion breakfast from early morning ending with the wedding gown presentation. During some hours I got to try some delicious desserts with a cup of coffee as well as take a look at the latest collection of the wedding dresses from the D'Dress studio. The people were so nice  and it was so joyful! More events like that please....
However, this short presentation was actually just a preview party as the original event is about to start tonight. Too bad I won't be able to attend due to my preparations for the coming exams.
Anyway thanks for the amazing event!

Oh and what regards the look of today, I don't know if you can tell but I was wearing my new fur coat that I got from Shein.com! They are so lovely, thank you guys!! Click here to check it or purchase it!  Without it my outfit wouldn't have been complete today!

And before posting this I actually encounter the dilemma if I should post my outfit photos here as well or just leave it as that with the shots of the event only. I think I'm gonna go with those two parts in one post as I have soo many plans for my blog and I don't really have time to play around.

I was wearing:

Sheinside.com coat
Asos trousers
Playnomore bag
Choies.com t/shirt
Bershka heels

Less is More

A quick outfit post photos taken back then on my visit to Vilnius for Polhem PR SS16 press day (click here to see the post). What to wear on a social event/collection review party you ask?
For me it goes very simply. I choose black and white! Since the fur coat adds that glamorous touch to the whole look, I don't have to worry about what to wear under it.
Mixing colours, textures and prints would be too much for me in this case so I gently create the contrast-effect by wearing all black under my faux fur. Less is More after all.

My denim love

When school gives me a lot of pressure and work stresses me out too, I always make sure to go out and breathe some air. Besides school you can find me either working on my blog or checking out social media which makes me sit in front of computer screen basically for a houurs.
These 10 minute walk-outs come out really handy in preventing stress so I try to do it as much as I can. It was so much fun this time with my new jacket from Romwe! (get the item here). It is really comfy and stylish and I love it!!

In the backstage of X Factor!

Maybe some of you have already seen on my instagram account about my recent visit to the X Factor Lithuania. I wasn't going there for fun at all, more like for work, however It would be a lie if I said that I hadn't had a lot of fun there! I mostly were taking photos, interviewing the contestants and the stylist of the show and having a looot of fuun back there backstage during the breaks as well as in the front row during the streaming.
Big thanks for Deichmann team for giving us such a nice task to take on! (Read the original article in the trendblog!) It was truly an amazing experience for me! Check the photos we took and the little backstage video we made below!

Shades of red?

One of my usual outfits in black. To add something extra this time decided to include those Rene Deco earrings into the look! So magnificant! I am not really a fan of a red shade but sometimes it makes the whole look stand out even if it's all in black.

Winter wonderland

It is freezing outside so I just had to pull out my fur coat! It didn't match my whole outfit only but  fit in the scenery  so well.

Black embroidered dress? Yes!

I can't really count the exact number of black dresses under my possession. How about you?
I love all of them though. They may differ in length, fabric or design but they are all great companions during the "I don't know what to wear but want to look extra good' days.
Not too long ago, a postman came by and I received another goodie, which will probably accompany me for the coming days. So classy, so comfy! And those little details around the sleeves gives that extra feeling. Thanks Shein.com! Click here to purchase one!

Kicking off the day with some tartan

Hello, Wednesday! Hope you all are having a great day! Me too, or at least trying to do so. My all playful a.k.a pattern-full outfit actually came in handy this time! Just look at the plaid scarf!! I got it from Sammydress.com (thanks guys!) it made my day! So fun to wear it! Also don't forget my old pair of trousers which are not really supposed to be called tartan nor plaid. Can't really find the right definition for this pattern in my head!! Please help me if you come up with something (in the comments below). And now I wish you all good luck. Friday is coming so just let's just wait a bit...(it's only been my third day in school since the winter break and It's already killing me).
